The Chem Expo brings together various leaders from different sectors in the industry and is reputed to be Hungary's leading exhibition in the chemicals and dyes arena.

Organised by HungExpo, a leading exhibition organizer in Hungary, the exhibition is held at the prestigious Budapest Fair Centre, over a span of four days in the month of May. During these four days, visitors will be able to learn about the latest technologies and chemical processes in the industry; attendees will be able to make valuable contacts and garner new business deals. The event is held every two years and purposely planned to coincide with the Industria and Securtex exhibitions. Together, all three exhibitions cover all the needs of the Chemical industry including plant maintenance and security.

The exhibition always features thousands of exhibits and also always includes a number of seminars and a conference, which takes place side by side to allow industry leaders to share their views on the market trends regarding the chemicals, chemical dyes and plastics industry. The Chem Expo also functions as a platform for various exhibitors to display cutting edge chemical technologies and build their client base.

The exhibits at the Chem Expo fall under different categories, which includes raw materials and finished and semi-finished products. There will also be exhibits for machinery, devices and apparatus, plants, corrosion protection technology, pumps, compressors, environmental protection, air pollution, monitoring and control systems.

The visitors who attend the Chem Expo include local and international names in the rubber, plastic and chemicals industry, with Chairpersons, Owners, Directors, Chief Executive Officers, consultants and industry professionals who use the exhibition as a forum to launch products, business deals and make contacts. There will also a large number of delegates from the government and various educational institutions who will be present at the event.

The Budapest Fair Centre has been upgraded in recent years and is now used for a hundred plus events each year. The venue is a short drive from the centre of Budapest and English is widely spoken in the venue and thus communication tends not to be a problem.
